We are thrilled to announce the return of Brigit: Dublin City Celebrating Women for its fifth year of city-wide festivities! Join us from Friday, January 30th to Monday, February 2nd, 2026 (bank holiday), as we celebrate Imbolc and honour the legacy of Brigit, the Celtic goddess of inspiration, healing, wisdom, and creativity.

Founded in 2021 with the support of the Lord Mayor’s Office and led by Dublin City Council, Brigit has become a vibrant celebration marking the feast of Brigid in contemporary Ireland. This unique event is a time to embrace new ideas, bring forth fresh projects, and celebrate the awakening of nature after the winter months — just as the goddess Brigit inspires.

We invite event organisers, embassies, artists, and cultural organisations to be part of the fifth edition of Brigit. Whether your event is online or in person, this is your chance to contribute to a rich tapestry of activities that embody the spirit of Brigit: creativity, magic, wisdom, protection, and fire. Together, we'll shine a light on the enduring legacy of Brigit and celebrate the modern women who carry her spirit forward.

This year, Brigit: Dublin City Celebrating Women is also accepting programme submissions for the Brigit Parade. Please use the other form to fill out your details. Click here to access.
