Dublin City Council Arts Office wishes to establish a registry of cultural/arts organisations and collectives who are seeking temporary or permanent work-space across the city.

The purpose of the registry is to establish a database of organisations/collectives actively seeking space (to rent; to lease & manage; or to purchase), and to match this information with opportunities that may arise through new building development and/or refurbishment of existing buildings. For the purposed of cross-referencing we will be using the typologies set out in the Cultural Toolkit : Toolkit Resource 2 Toolkit_Resource_2.pdf

This registry database is intended to be used by Dublin City Council to directly inform registered contacts of new opportunities related to Cultural/Arts workspace (including but not limited to those arising from CUO25 Dublin City Development Plan Final 1-12 Culture.pdf );  and/or  training/networking events for artists workspace). It is further intended that contacts provided will be shared with developers and/or their agents for the purposes of matching expressed workspace need to new potential supply.

Please note this registry is not suitable or intended for individual artists.

Dublin City Arts Office invites expressions of interest from artists, creatives, and facilitators to deliver workshops or short performances for Cruinniú na nÓg 2026 in libraries across the city.

Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people. As part of Dublin City’s programme, we are developing a series of high‑quality, engaging, and inclusive creative experiences in our library network. We are seeking proposals that spark imagination, support creative confidence, and offer meaningful participation for children and young people aged 0–18. This year Cruinniú na nÓg will take place on Saturday 6th June.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome proposals from all artforms, including but not limited to:

  • Visual arts, craft, and making
  • Music, singing, and sound
  • Dance, movement, and circus
  • Theatre, storytelling, and performance
  • Digital creativity, gaming, and animation
  • Creative writing, zines, and comics
  • Interdisciplinary or experimental practices

Workshops should be hands‑on, age‑appropriate, and designed for groups of approximately 12–20 participants (depending on activity). Short performances should be suitable for family audiences and adaptable to library settings.

Fee

A maximum of €500 is available per workshop or performance. This must include all preparation, materials, travel, and associated costs. Venues will be allocated by Dublin City Council and any costs incurred for venue hire will be covered.

Selection and Programming

Submissions will be added to a programming database used by Dublin City Arts Office and Dublin City Libraries to curate the Cruinniú na nÓg 2026 programme. Inclusion in the database does not guarantee selection, but it ensures your proposal will be considered across multiple library venues.

How to Apply

Please use the Submittable form to apply. Only proposals submitted via submittable, before the deadline, will be considered.

Deadline

March 27th at 12 noon.
